Why Choose AZ Auto Collision Center

  • Light-Duty and Heavy-Duty Truck Coverage

We understand that Ram configurations differ in cargo boxes, fenders, tailgates, and exterior equipment. Our estimates reflect the actual truck rather than a generic pickup parts list.

  • Ram Repair Information

We review applicable Stellantis repair instructions, including restrictions on damaged structural components and designated one-time-use fasteners.

  • Body and Frame Equipment

Our facility has a frame machine and aluminum welding equipment. We verify the required tooling and repair methods before scheduling specialized operations.

  • Parts and Accessory Identification

We review factory trim packages and installed accessories, then explain available replacement components and ordering requirements.

  • Insurance Estimate Assistance

We document body damage, communicate with insurers, and explain additional repair items discovered after disassembly.

  • Limited Lifetime Warranty

Eligible body repairs and paintwork carry a limited lifetime warranty for as long as you own the vehicle, subject to warranty terms.

Our Repair Process

  1. Bring in Your Truck

Send damage photos or schedule an inspection. We prepare a preliminary written estimate based on the visible damage.

  2. Assess the Affected Sections

We inspect the body panels, cargo-box attachments, and accessible mounting hardware to identify the required repairs.

  3. Confirm Parts and Approval

We explain the repair choices, replacement components, and any insurance requirements before work starts.

  4. Repair the Truck Body

Our technicians restore eligible panels, replace damaged assemblies, and complete structural work supported by the applicable procedures.

  5. Refinish and Reassemble

We paint the repaired areas and reinstall panels, trim, tailgate components, and related hardware.

  6. Inspect the Finished Work

We check exterior alignment, paint appearance, and the operation of affected closures before releasing your Ram.

About Our Shop

AZ Auto Collision Center is an independent Los Angeles repair facility providing auto body and collision repair for Ram trucks alongside services for other domestic and imported vehicles.

We work with factory-equipped pickups and trucks fitted with exterior accessories. Our team reviews the truck's configuration, replacement-part options, and the work required to restore damaged body sections. We also recognize the importance of correct cargo-box and tailgate fit when preparing estimates for pickup owners.

Our staff provides written repair recommendations, discusses parts availability, and assists with insurance documentation. We'll explain the expected schedule and get approval before doing any additional work.

Ram Body Repair Questions

Can you repair a Ram Multifunction Tailgate that won't open correctly?

We inspect the tailgate's two swing-door sections, conventional hinges, latches, and mounting points. The Multifunction Tailgate has a 60/40 split, so both door sections must align and latch correctly. We determine which components need repair or replacement and check their operation after assembly.

Can you repair a damaged RamBox storage-bin lid?

In many cases, the damaged lid or attached hardware can be addressed separately. We inspect the lid, hinges, latch, seals, and surrounding cargo-box structure. If the collision distorted the bed rail or storage opening, that damage may also need repair before the compartment closes properly.

Does a Ram 3500 dually require different bedside parts from a Ram 1500?

Yes. Dual-rear-wheel trucks use a different rear fender and wheel-opening arrangement. We identify the vehicle's exact configuration before ordering bedside or fender components. The repair estimate also accounts for damage to the underlying mounting points and adjoining cargo-box panels.

Can you repair a Ram bumper with blind-spot monitoring or parking sensors?

That depends on the equipment and the damaged area. Stellantis warns that improper bumper repairs near blind-spot monitoring sensors can affect system operation. We review the applicable repair restrictions, check the sensor mounting areas, and identify any required diagnostics or calibration before confirming the work.

Why might new bolts or clips be required during Ram body repair?

Stellantis identifies certain fasteners and components as one-time-use parts. Once removed, these items must be replaced rather than reused. We review the vehicle's repair instructions and include required replacement hardware in the repair plan when applicable.

Can you repair a dented Ram 1500 bedside without replacing the entire bed?

Often, yes. We examine the damaged panel, wheelhouse, bed rail, and nearby joints. Localized damage may allow panel repair or replacement without removing the complete cargo box. Extensive deformation or damage to supporting sections can change that recommendation.

Can you match Ram Ivory White Tri-Coat or Delmonico Red paint?

Yes. We use computerized color matching to identify the appropriate formulation and compare it with the vehicle's existing finish. Multistage colors such as Ivory White Tri-Coat require additional attention during application. We determine the required refinishing and blending areas before painting.

Can you include damaged running boards or aftermarket truck accessories in the estimate?

Yes. We document affected steps, bed accessories, trim, and their mounting points. Replacement availability and insurance coverage may vary for aftermarket components. We'll explain the proposed parts, installation work, and any limitations before the repair begins.
